Dashboard: SLA Monitoring Summary

In this page we will show you how to create a SLA Monitoring Summary gadget.

To do this you first need to create a dashboard page and have the necessary permissions as described here in Configure Dashboard Section.

How to add it ?

To add the SLA Monitoring Summary gadget to your dashboard, follow these steps:

Description of the gadget

The SLA Monitoring Summary gadget presents a detailed table that helps you track and analyze SLA performance across various issues. The table includes the following columns:

  • SLA Name: The name of the SLA configured for the issue.

  • Issue Key: The unique identifier of the issue within Jira.

  • Start Date: The date and time when the SLA tracking began.

  • End Date: The date and time when the SLA is expected to be completed.

  • Business Duration: The total duration of the SLA, calculated based on business hours.

  • Elapsed Time: The time that has passed since the SLA started.

  • Remaining Time: The time left before the SLA deadline is reached.

  • Breached Time: The amount of time by which the SLA has been breached, if applicable.

Filtering the SLA Results

The SLA Monitoring Summary gadget provides filtering options to help you focus on specific data:

  • Project Key Filter: Use this filter to filter the results by a specific project key, allowing you to focus on SLAs for a particular project.

  • SLA Name Filter: This filter lets you focus on specific SLAs by their names, making it easier to monitor the performance of particular SLAs of interest.

Exporting the SLA Summary

The SLA Monitoring Summary gadget also provides export options for easy reporting and analysis:

  • Export to PDF: Users can export the SLA summary table as a PDF document, which is useful for reporting and sharing SLA performance data with stakeholders.

  • Export to Excel: The data can also be exported as an Excel file, allowing for further analysis or record-keeping in a spreadsheet format.
