Fields Overview
To add a new field of type in Kepler - Attachment Fields Cloud, you should follow this steps:
1- On apps tab, click on Kepler Attachment Fields Cloud Config.
2- In Kepler - Attachment Fields Cloud config page, click on Fields Overview tab.
3- To add a new attachment field, click on button Add New Field.
Add/Update Field
- To create a new field, click on "Add a New Field".
- Or click the button "Pencil" in the list of fields to update one.
- Fill in all the necessary inputs in the popup, according to your configuration.
- Finally, click on "Save" button.
For the inputs, here are their descriptions:
- Name : Give a name to your field
- Max Size : Maximum size (in MB) that the field will accept for attached files. If you enter 1 for this field, then the field will not accept files larger than 1 MB.
- Type : You have two options: Single or Multiple.
- If you choose the Single option, then your field will only accept one file to be attached to this field.
- If you choose Multiple you can attach several files to this custom field.
Note that even the display and options change for these two types.
Please pay attention to this configuration.
- Extensions : You have two options: All or Custom.
- If you choose All, then the custom field will accept attaching all extensions.
- Otherwise, if you choose Custom, you must select the extensions to accept.
To do this, you have to choose the extension you want to select in the 'Unsupported extension' area or click on 'Filter by extension type', then on the extension that belongs to this type.
Example: for the image type, the extension will be png, jpg, etc.
If you click on 'Selected', you will see all selected extensions in a single space (in Supported extension area).
- Associated Project: Mention for which projects this field should be displayed. We can add multiple project.
Associated Issue Type: Specify the issue types where this custom field should be visible. In this section, we can see How to get the Type Issue ID or read officiel Atlassian documentation Finding the Issue Type ID in Jira Cloud.
Delete Field
You can delete a field by click the button "Trash" in the list of fields.
A popup appears to confirm the operation by "Yes" or "Cancel".
Deleting a field deletes all attached files.
