In order to use Kepler - Attachment Fields Cloud, you must specify a location.
So, in the main header, go to Apps Dropdown and select Kepler - Attachment Fields Cloud Config.
Kepler - Attachment Fields Cloud offers you the possibility to manage save your attachment on the Kepler Storage or in your own internal Storage.
Whene you're in the Kepler Attachment Fields Cloud Config page, you should select Localition Configuration tab if is not yet selected.
Once you're in this page, you have tow choice to select: Default Location or SFTP Location.
Default Location (Kepler Storage)
This configuration allows you to store your attched files in Kepler Storage.
In this case, you don't have to configure anything, you have just to let Setup type on Default.
SFTP Location (Your own Data Storage)
In this case Setup stype is SFTP, so you will need to fill in the other configuration fields :
Setup type SFTP: This will allow you to create an SFTP connection.
File path: In this input field, you must enter the path where your files will be stored on your Storage. For example: "/data/cloud/jira/attachment-file/". Pay attention to include "/" at the beginning and end of the path.
Host: Enter the IP address of your Storage Device. For example: "192.10.100.80".
Port: Enter the port number to connect to your Storage Device, example: 6537.
Username: Enter the username you will use when connecting to your Storage Device.
User Permission
The user must have Read/Write permissions on the allocated space.
Password: Enter the password associated with the username you use to connect to the Storage Device.
When changing the SFTP location, remember to upload your files to the new location.
Delete files after plugin uninstallation: This gives you the option to choose whether you want your data saved in your SFTP storage array to be deleted 20 days after uninstalling the plugin.
Email: Enter your valid email address, if you uninstall the plugin, this email address will be used to send you notifications before deleting your data.
Data Encryption:
For enhanced security, the sensitive information such as the Username, Host, and Password is encrypted using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard).
This ensures that these details are not stored in plain text within the database.
The encrypted data is only accessible in its encrypted form, preventing unauthorized access.
The decryption keys are securely managed and are not exposed, further safeguarding your connection details.
By implementing AES encryption, we ensure that your credentials remain confidential and protected from unauthorized access, enhancing the overall security of your SFTP connections.
